North Port Youth Soccer’s mission is to provide the opportunity for soccer training and play for all interested participants. This opportunity is designed to develop individual skills, fitness, sportsmanship, to support the physical, mental and emotional development of youth players, and to promote, foster and perpetuate the growth of soccer in our community.
We do this work by developing educationally meaningful programs for players, parents, and coaches that are challenging but are easy to access and understand, providing licensed coaching, training facilities and equipment, and supporting exceptionally well conceived and organized events supported by dedicated volunteers who are confident, competent, and caring.
Develop and prepare our players for the future, both on and off the field. Equally, if not more importantly, we reinforce non-soccer specific skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, responsibility, discipline and respect for all players. Win and lose with class.
Believe in the potential of all soccer players and seek to empower them with the self-belief to build confidence thru the raising of soccer standards.
Strive to ensure all soccer players are given a balanced soccer experience and quality instruction.
Provide a positive and safe environment for all soccer players to participate in.
Ensure all staff and volunteers work together showing enthusiasm and a professional approach. The club will ensure that staff professional development includes soccer management and recognition of a good work ethic.
Engage the whole community to be involved with our club development and successes with a variety of effective alliances, partnerships and networks.
