My child has to miss a practice or game.
If you child has to miss practice they must contact their coach. The coach may adjust training based on how many players attend practice.
Can my child play up?
In general, players should play in their own age division. The only exceptions are if an age group (team) does not exist for that player or they are completely dominant over their peers. If a player does move up, it requires approval from their coaches and the competitive director.
Can I talk to our coach before or after a match?
No one may approach or email a coach with player concerns 24 hours after a match.
At NPYS/Fusion FC we implement a possession-based attacking system. We teach a progressive possession philosophy that focuses on playing out of the back, playing through the lines, and creating and finish scoring chances. In the defensive phase, we want to win the ball back as quickly as possible and defending in an organized way.
NPYS/Fusion FC Philosophy and Identity:
NPYS/Fusion FC philosophy and identity are directly related to our all-encompassing club style of play and coach effectiveness. At NPYS we obsess over playing an attractive style of play that intends on controlling possession, making scoring chances, playing on the ground and through the lines.
Our club philosophy also dictates that coaches perform at a high level in the way they prepare and implement lesson plans, with a huge emphasis on player and team development. NPYS/Fusion FC players know the level of commitment of the coaches to their progress based on how much feedback and care they obtain on an individual basis.
NPYS/Fusion FC Core Values:
NPYS/Fusion FC Core Values are an essential part of our club, they set the standard for conduct and performance. Players and Coaches are asked to learn and live the Core Values to help them become better players and better people.
Common respect forms the foundation of soccer. We hold in high regard our sport, it’s values and traditions and always conduct ourselves with honesty and integrity. We earn the respect of others in the way we behave and respect all others that we encounter; our teammates, our coaches, our opponents, supporters and the referees. We value the facilities we use and treat each with consideration.
We welcome all new team members and include all. We have confidence in each other’s capability and knowledge and work together to bring out the best in each other. We play selflessly: working for the team, not for ourselves alone.
We know that dreams are to be attained. We actively pursue advanced goals and challenge ourselves to be better every day. We inspire our players to play without fear, to take risks and learn from honest mistakes.
Effort is a value that can take us to unthinkable heights and lead us to objectives to accomplish our goals that may at other times appear distant or unreachable. Commitment, consistency, sacrifice, and determination all hold the same weight.
We strive to be the best possible version of ourselves and achieve the highest possible levels in everything that we do through appropriate attitude and application.
Enjoyment is the reason we play soccer. We encourage players to be passionate, to enjoy training and love the game.
